Welcome to the home of the River Forest Rapids Soccer Club
If you live in River Forest, Oak Park, Elmwood Park, Elmhurst, Melrose Park, Forest Park, Berwyn, Riverside, Chicago, and other surrounding communities check us out! We offer competitive youth soccer programs for boys and girls U8 and above, with 100% training
conducted by independent qualified soccer coaches. We stress personal and team development in a challenging yet positive environment. Our boys and girls teams strive to compete at the highest levels of the Northern Illinois Soccer League and Illinois Women's Soccer League. The Rapids are passionate about soccer, and we invite you to consider the Rapids Soccer Club.
 
Club Notes and Announcements
• The Rapids and Strikers soccer clubs are pleased to announce that they have agreed to a two-year extension of the OPRF One boys high club soccer program. This program allows the top boys high school soccer players in River Forest, Oak Park and surrounding communities to play together in a single club so they can improve both individually and as a group. OPRF One was started this year on a trial basis, and is currently fielding one Under-17 Classic division team and two Under-16 teams. Three to four OPRF One teams are expected next year. A number of improvements and modifications will be implemented in next year's program, including inclusion of Rapids coaching staff. Full details about next year's program will be provided over the summer at one or more parent meetings sponsored jointly by the two clubs. Tryouts for 2008-09 teams will take place in late September 2008.
